 M\W\ Bro\ Panayiotis Michael Joannou was initiated in freemasonry on June 20^th, 1984 as an Entered Apprentice in SOLON Lodge No.55 under the auspices of the Grand Lodge of Greece.  He was raised to Fellow Craft on April 17^th , 1985 and passed to the Master Mason degree on May 8^th, 1985.

 M\W\ Bro\ Panayiotis Michael Joannou was installed on November 5^th, 2003  as the sixty second Worshipful Master of “SOLON” Lodge No. 55, position which he held until November 9^th, 2005.

 M\W\ Bro\ Panayiotis Michael Joannou was elected a Grand Officer in the first elections for Grand Officers of the Grand Lodge of Cyprus on January 15^th, 2006 and was installed on the same date as its first Grand Senior Warden. On May 29th , 2006 he was installed as Deputy Grand Master, office which he held until February 21^st, 2009.

 On February 21^st , 2009, M\W\ Bro\ Panayiotis Michael Joannou was elected and
installed as the second Grand Master of the Grand lodge of Cyprus for the years 2009 – 2012.

 M\W\ Bro\ Panayiotis Michael Joannou is a third generation freemason.
